See that? We made it into the top 10! Awesome isn’t it? I’ve been ticketed quite a few times there. In 2008, there were 2497 tickets issued. Tickets are usually only $30, but that’s a revenue of $74,910!
Personally, I feel the fact that there are so many tickets, is sorta like a carnary in a mine. There is a problem here. Mainly, poor students don’t want to pony up $576 for a parking pass. They also don’t want to pay $12 for a daily permit.
I almost feel sorry for the hospital visitors. 8875 tickets were written at Sunnybrook hospital in 2008! That’s around 24 tickets a day. I mean, if you go to a hospital, your primary concern, most likely isn’t parking. Its about visiting a loved one who is sick. Way to kick them while they’re down Toronto!
